Excursion about the
Castle. Built in 1630 as the seat of town with bastions, castle
in the XVII-XVIII century belonged Sobeskim and Radziwill.In the courtyard
of the castle are situated Grand Palace and the Chinese Palace. Feel
yorself like a medieval knight and spend an unforgettable day in the
beautiful castles.
Excursion about the Podgoretsky
Castle – the unique monument of architecture of Late Renaissance (1635-1640
.), which belonged to the magnates Zhivutsky. The Castle ensemble includes:
palace surrounded by a moat, Baroque church (1752-1766 ), gate and park
of the XVIII with old lime trees. Podgoretsky Castle is the branch
of Lviv Gallery of Art and now it is under restoration. In v.Podgortsy
we advised to inspect the wooden church of St. Michael (1720) - a monument
of a folk art and old Russian town Plisneskoe (XII century.).
Excursion about the Olesky
Castle –– the unique monument of architecture and the history ÕIII
– XVIII s. In the XIV century it was a powerful fortress of Old Russian.
In the XV - XVI century the castle became the Hotels of the magnates
and in the 1620's was rebuilt in the spirit of the Italian Renaissance.
In 1629 there was born a king Jan III Sobesky, who later often stayed
there, gathering numerous collections of works of art. After the restoration
of 1965-1975 years here was founded the Museum, Department of the Lviv
Art galleries. The museum contains hundreds of unique works of art,
sculpture, applied art X - XIX centuries among them - the icons, portraits,
still life, furniture, a collection of sculptures. Throughout this excellent
picture is complemented by a picturesque park.
